A legacy of compassion became a community.

Susan McNabb devoted her life to individuals with special needs. From her years in early childhood education to her leadership as Community Living Director at Narvick House in Morris, Illinois, Sue’s work was never just a job. It was her calling.

After Sue passed away in 2015, the idea of continuing her work lived quietly in conversations and memories. In 2022, Jessica McNabb, Jeremy McNabb, Jackie Stoltz, and Julie Thompson turned that idea into Susan’s Mission.

Basketball

Inclusive team basketball focused on skill development, teamwork, and competitive opportunities. Teams compete at Regionals with the potential to advance to State.

Encouraging personal growth, goal setting, and achievement in a structured atmosphere. Athletes compete at Regionals with advancement opportunities to State.

Building coordination, endurance, and sportsmanship in a supportive team environment, with Regional competition and opportunities to advance.

Promoting confidence, communication, and fun competition on and off the field. Teams participate in Regional competition with the potential to move on to State.

Susan’s Mission is committed to ensuring that no individual or family is required to pay to participate in our programs or events.

From uniforms and equipment to competitions and community events, everything we provide is made possible through fundraising and generous community support.
